He is a trainer and expert in the development of surgical devices.
He is a co-founder of Linkéos (a company developing applications for post-operative patient monitoring) and Via Sanae Partner (an auditing and consulting firm for the development of medical-surgical structures abroad).
He has been involved in national and international scientific life for many years, and is a board member of the following learned societies:
Moussa Hamadouche has been Professeur des Universités - Praticien Hospitalier (PUPH) in Orthopedic Surgery at Hôpital Cochin, Université Paris Cité since 2007.
He holds a PhD in Biomechanics and Biomaterials, and completed a Research Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
He is a member of SOFCOT, the International Hip Society (IHS), the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), the European Hip Society (EHS) and the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS).
He is also Medical Director of the Biologie, Bioingénierie et Bioimagerie Ostéo-Articulaires (B3OA) UMR CNRS 7052 INSERM U1271 laboratory.
He has published over 150 articles and/or book chapters on primary and revision hip arthroplasty, and on materials in orthopedic surgery.
I am an orthopedic surgeon at Pitié-Salpêtrière Teaching Hospital in Paris, France, specializing in hip surgery, and a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Paris VI Sorbonne University. I am also a biomechanical engineer, having graduated from École Centrale Paris andthe University of Leeds, UK.
My surgical practice focuses on total hip replacement in young patients, emphasizing the
precision of three-dimensional hip reconstruction, the benefits of customized anatomic stems, and minimally invasive techniques.
My research interests include hip biomechanics, tribology, computer-aided surgery, and gait analysis.
Jean-Noël ARGENSON has been University Professor - Hospital Practitioner (PUPH) in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at Marseille University Hospital, Aix-Marseille University, since 1995. He has been Head of the Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology Department at Hôpitaux Sud and Hôpital de la Timone since 2003. He has been Head of the Inter-site Locomotor Pole at Marseille University Hospital since 2007.
He has been an exceptional professor since 2016. He is co-director of the Unité mixte de recherche en biomécanique Université Aix-Marseille- CNRS. He is Medical Director of the Institut du Mouvement et de l'Appareil Locomoteur (IML) www.iml.care at Marseille's Southern Hospitals. He is coordinator of the regional Groupe Hospitalier de Territoire for orthopedic surgery and traumatology, and faculty assessor for the Groupe Hospitalier de Territoire.
He holds a PhD in Surgical Sciences, and completed a Research Fellowship at Oxford University, UK. He is a full member of the French National Academy of Surgery.
He is a member of the French College of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the SOFCOT, the French Hip and Knee Society (SFHG), the Knee Society, the International Hip Society (IHS), the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), and the European Hip Society (EHS). He was President and founding member of the European Knee Society (EKS), President of the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA), and President of the International Society of Mediterranean Orthopaedic Surgery.
He was President of the 50-02 orthopedic surgery sub-section of the Conseil National des Universités, and President of the Conférence des présidents des sections médicales of the Conseil National des Universités. He is a member of international university committees: Balgrist University, Zurich; Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire Vaudois, Lausanne; Torino Universita, Turin; Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, USA; Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA; University of California, San Francisco, USA.
He has published over 260 pubmed-indexed articles, particularly in the field of knee and hip arthroplasty.
