Ultrasound Workshops
90-minute sessions combining theory and practical training, during which participants will learn the principles and techniques of ultrasound of the upper limb (hand/wrist, shoulder/elbow) and lower limb (knee, hip, foot/ankle).

A discussion group focusing on the history of surgery and the evolution of the philosophical thinking associated with these advances.
Oral Presentations
Presentation of the various papers submitted to and selected by SOFCOT.
This award recognizes the best presentation delivered by an author under 35 years of age.
This award recognizes the best presentation addressing risk management in orthopaedics.
Only presentations genuinely addressing risk management will be considered.
This award is presented to the author of a fundamental research (preferably) or clinical research paper, by a French author under 35 years of age.
Only presentations genuinely addressing innovation and research will be considered.
Teaching Conference
Thematic sessions dedicated to updating knowledge in orthopaedic trauma.
Guest Conference / Keynote Lecture
Presentation by an expert focusing on a specific topic.
Case Discussion
Clinical case discussion with two experts.
Honorary Lecture
Honorary lecture dedicated to a renowned figure recognized for their expertise and contribution to orthopaedic trauma.
Specialty Day
Program organized by SOFCOT’s Associated and Partner Societies.
IBODE Day
Session dedicated to State-Registered Operating Room Nurses to update their knowledge of orthopaedic surgery and trauma surgery and strengthen their skills in the operating room and in their professional practice.
Rehabilitation Day
Session dedicated to surgeons, physical and rehabilitation medicine specialists, and physiotherapists to update their knowledge of the principles and current rehabilitation practices in orthopaedic trauma.
ORC (Orthopaedic Review Course)
An update of knowledge in orthopaedic trauma, particularly intended for surgeons in training or those wishing to update their knowledge.
Internes de 4e, 5e et 6e years at a French institution.
Participants may register for both sessions. Online registration; supporting documentation is mandatory.
ORTHOBATTLE
A quiz organized by the College of Young Orthopaedic Surgeons (CJO), with a prize for the winner.
ORTHORISQ
ORTHORISQ is the French organization dedicated to risk management and improving the safety of practices in orthopaedic and trauma surgery.
Access to this session is restricted to Orthorisq members.
Relive
Screening of a surgical video in the presence of the surgeon, followed by a discussion with the audience.
Session RMM
Interactive analysis of anonymized adverse-event cases from the Orthorisq database.
This session will qualify as an M&M meeting for the accreditation and certification program, provided participants attend the entire session.
Symposium
A major scientific session dedicated to the latest advances and innovations in a specific field.
Table ronde
Discussion and debate around a specific topic.
Workshop CJO
60-minute sessions combining theory and practical training, available by registration only (limited number of places). Reserved for residents and junior doctors from French institutions only.
Each participant may register for a maximum of two workshops out of the three offered.
The theoretical part is open to all congress participants, but the practical hands-on part is reserved for residents/junior doctors who register in advance (online during congress registration).
